Guide to the Northwind Traders Sample Database

If you've used Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server, you may already be familiar with the Northwind Traders database. Now, using the magic of Gatsby Database Explorer we've put the Northwind Traders on the Web. The database contains information to support the business model of a fictional food distributor. This includes Customers, Employees, Orders and Products.

During this demonstration you will:

• See how to Web-enable a database with Gatsby Database Explorer.
• Use Gatsby Database Explorer to navigate and maintain database content.
• See how Gatsby Database Explorer adapt to the database privileges of different users.
• Visit a custom e-commerce site that was built using the Gatsby Application Objects.

The database used in this demonstration is hosted on Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
